Some clients only need your assistance once in their entire lives. Therefore, setting up these kinds of clients is not necessary. You can create a one-time customer master record in such scenarios. You don't record any information unique to a single customer in such customer master. This allows for reuse of the customer master record.
In particular, when you use a one-time customer number in a sales order, the system invites you to provide the precise name and address of the client placing this particular transaction. The same customer number has different names and address information in successive sales documents (Figure 8). You can reuse the customer number because this information is only maintained in the current sales document. A routine cash sale is one of the main business operations that uses a one-time customer. There is no need to track and keep a record for future usage because the consumer pays instantly for the good or service.
