Common SAP Movement Types

SAP movement types are an integral part of the SAP inventory management system, allowing users to track goods movements within a warehouse. Movement types can also be used to document various other transactions such as goods receipts, goods issues, and stock transfers.

In SAP transactions, the transportation of goods in logistics operations is a common theme. Good movements are the most common classification for logistics transactions like transfers and sales. Typically, movements are categorized according to their goals.
